$ZC Holder Crates for the coins that stay.

Burning is how zipcoin speaks. Holding is how it stays. Every eligible wallet holding $ZC can have a Holder Crate: a sealed container for a potential $ZC allocation.

your crate

Zipped until your wallet unzips it.

Before you connect, nobody knows what is inside. Not this page, not you. No balance is read, no tier is shown, no allocation is guessed. The Crate stays sealed and cold.

Connect, and it resolves from your wallet's own position on Ethereum.

Wallet connection goes live with the program. This build reads nothing.

method

Two things fill a Crate.

Not a single balance seen once. A position, measured as it is held.

  1. 01 · amount

    $ZC held

How much $ZC the wallet holds. A larger position fills more of the Crate.

  2. 02 · duration

    Time held

How long the wallet has held it. Keep the position and the Crate keeps progressing.

  3. result

    A stronger Crate

Fuller. A higher tier. A larger potential $ZC allocation.

Selling cools it. Selling or substantially reducing your position before the relevant snapshot can reduce your Crate. Keep holding and it keeps progressing.

tiers

Five classes. One direction.

Every Crate resolves to a class, marked like metal: by assay, not by shine. The deeper and longer the position, the further down this list it goes.

  1. class 01 of 05 · Cu

    Copper

The entry-level eligible Holder Crate. A position on the record, starting to fill.

  2. class 02 of 05 · Cu·Sn

    Bronze

A stronger holder position. More held, or held for longer, and the Crate shows it.

  3. class 03 of 05 · Ag

    Silver

A committed holder position. Size and time both doing work.

  4. class 04 of 05 · Au

    Gold

A deeper or longer-held $ZC position. The Crate runs hot.

  5. class 05 of 05 · Pt

    Platinum

The deepest and longest-held positions, associated with the strongest potential $ZC allocations.

Tier boundaries have not been published. This page does not guess balances, durations or amounts for any class.

why zipcoin

A burn is a moment. Holding is a record.

zipcoin already has a way to say you meant it once: burn and speak. The book even ranks words with time decay, so today's rise over yesterday's. That is how speech should work.

Holder Crates measure the other thing. The position that does not fade. Kept quietly, in a wallet, over time.

“...except perhaps for burning a hundred zipcoins at his doorstep.”

Snowmoon, ch. 20

In Veridia a burn proves you are someone to talk to. A Crate shows you stayed.

  • One balance is a moment.

A wallet should not be judged from a single block. Size held over time says more than size held for an afternoon. Crates count both the capital and the time.

  • Time already matters here.

zipcoin's own docs say it plainly: waiting longer makes the privacy crowd thicker. Patience already changes outcomes on zipcoin. Crates apply the same idea to holding.

  • A fixed supply, held.

$ZC launched with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000. No mint, no owner. Holding a share of something that cannot be inflated is a position worth measuring.

about zipcoin

Veridia's money, on Ethereum.

In Snowmoon, Vitalik Buterin's novel set in the country of Veridia, the zipcoin is money. Payments are anonymized, people burn zipcoins to make a message worth reading, and sales tax flows in real time.

$ZC is that currency, shipped as an ERC-20 on Ethereum mainnet. It launched on Stockereum with a fixed supply and all liquidity in a single Uniswap v4 position owned by the launch hook. Open source. Not affiliated with Vitalik Buterin.

separate program

Beside zipcoin's verbs. Not inside them.

zipcoin already burns, zips and collects tax. Holder Crates are their own thing, with their own rules.

system what you do what it is for
speak · knock Burn zipcoins with a message, or at someone's door. Being heard. Words that stay on Ethereum.
zip · unzip Deposit into a privacy pool, withdraw with a proof. Paying without a trace back to your wallet.
sales tax · buybacks · prizes Nothing. It happens on every $ZC trade. Treasury flow, as documented in zipcoin's books.
holder crates Hold $ZC in your wallet, and keep holding. A potential $ZC allocation, from amount and time held.

Holder Crates do not reuse the rules of speak, knock, zip, unzip, the Veridian sales tax, buybacks or prizes, and they do not replace any of them. Nothing on this page claims those systems fund or calculate Crates.

how it works

How Holder Crates work

Six steps. Most of them are just not selling.

  1. 01

    Hold $ZC

Keep $ZC in an Ethereum wallet you control. Buy on Uniswap ↗

  2. 02

    Maintain your position

Don't sell it down. Reducing before the relevant snapshot can reduce your Crate.

  3. 03

    Build your Crate

More held and more time held both fill it further.

  4. 04

    Reach stronger tiers

    Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.

  5. 05

    Connect your wallet

Open Your Crate. Only your wallet unzips it.

  6. 06

    Reveal your potential allocation

See your tier and potential $ZC allocation.

faq

Questions, answered with what is known.

If a number is not here, it has not been published. Follow @zipcoincash for program rules.

What is a $ZC Holder Crate?

A Holder Crate is a holder rewards container tied to an eligible wallet that holds $ZC. It represents a potential $ZC allocation, and it gets stronger with two things: how much $ZC the wallet holds and how long it has held it.

Who can have a Holder Crate?

Every eligible wallet holding $ZC on Ethereum can have one. The eligibility rules are published with the program. This page does not set or guess a minimum balance or holding period.

What strengthens my Crate?

Two factors: the amount of $ZC your wallet holds and how long it has held it. A larger position kept for longer means a fuller Crate, a higher tier, and a larger potential $ZC allocation.

Does holding more $ZC matter?

Yes. The size of your position is one of the two primary factors. More $ZC held fills more of the Crate.

Does holding longer matter?

Yes. Time held is the other primary factor. A position maintained over time says more than a balance seen once, and the Crate keeps progressing while you hold.

What happens if I sell?

Selling or substantially reducing your position before the relevant snapshot can reduce your Crate. Continuing to hold lets it keep progressing.

Does burning to speak or zipping my $ZC affect my Crate?

Burning sends zipcoins to the dead address and zipping moves them into the privacy pool, so either one takes coins out of your wallet. Reducing your wallet's position before the relevant snapshot can reduce your Crate.

Zipped notes are designed to be unlinked from any wallet, so this page does not assume they count toward one. The program's published rules decide.

What are the five tiers?

Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Copper is an entry-level eligible Crate. Platinum is for the deepest and longest-held positions, associated with the strongest potential $ZC allocations. See the tiers.

How do I open my Crate?

Connect your Ethereum wallet with Open Your Crate. Your Crate resolves from your wallet's position and shows its tier and potential $ZC allocation. Wallet connection goes live with the program.

Is a Crate a guaranteed reward?

No. A Crate represents a potential $ZC allocation. Nothing here promises an amount, a return or a price.

Are Holder Crates part of the sales tax, buybacks or prizes?

No. Holder Crates are a separate program with their own rules. They do not reuse the rules of speak, knock, zip, unzip, the Veridian sales tax, buybacks or prizes, and they do not replace any of them. See the comparison.

What is ZIPCOIN?

zipcoin ($ZC) is the currency from Snowmoon, a novel by Vitalik Buterin, shipped as an ERC-20 on Ethereum mainnet with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000, no mint and no owner. You can zip and unzip it privately through a Privacy Pool, burn it to speak, or knock at someone's door. 0.5% of every trade is collected as the Veridian sales tax. zipcoin is not affiliated with Vitalik Buterin. More about zipcoin.

Hold more. Stay longer.
Then unzip it.

Your Crate is already waiting for its state. Connect to see what it holds.
